IHI’s inspiration comes from a childhood curiosity for keys sparked by a father who mastered the unseen workings of Philadelphia’s transit system. His ability to understand complexity, solve problems, and care for the people behind the scenes became the blueprint for our approach. Today, his legacy guides how we help clients uncover potential and transform their systems.
Made In His Image
IHI Consultants is named in honor of Dwight T. Thomas. As his youngest son, our founder carries forward the wisdom, values, and perspective his father lived out daily — to look deeper, seek understanding, make meaningful connections, and solve problems in ways that strengthen people and systems alike.
“Made In His Image” is both identity and purpose. It represents a commitment to help others unlock what’s hidden, navigate complexity with confidence, and build the capacity to thrive.
